Dave is a born, bred and authentically self-loathing Fifer. After a brief flirtation with journalism in his younger academic years he now finds himself entrenched in the financial sector, hell bent on writing his way to freedom from the daily spreadsheet-laden grind.
He specialises in, or leans toward, writing prose pieces of fiction. The longer the better. He incorporates a wide range of subjects from small town life and intricacies to wider historic myths and legends. His intention is to soon publish a collection, or two, of his short stories before progressing to novellas and, eventually, novels.
A father of one, Dave is a voracious reader, writer (really…), movie watcher and music listener. And, when not at home or at work, can usually be found traipsing around Scotland seeking out islands, castles and history.
